title: Tagboard's up. :) Lil apprehensive about it cuz this blog hasn't got its readership up yet. Ah wells. I'll just talk to myself till then. Wahahaha.
Anyways. It's FRIDAY~!! Woot. Seriously it doesn't much affect me whatever day it is. Because i am still unemployed. But dar, on the other hand, has happiness oozing straight out her heart. It's unspeakable. It's uncontrollable. It's Friday. The source of her joy stems out from the source of her pain. Dar's recently employed by the gahmen to work on one of their projects. She's still adjusting, hence the pain. I really hope she'll not just survive, but thrive at her workplace. Dar showed me a ppt she's been working on. (I reckon it's nothing confidential and threatening to the fragile social harmony of Singapore so please don't put me under ISA.) Anyway, i saw the ppt, and in a SINGLE slide i managed to spot SIX different acronyms. o.0 Talk about the gahmen loving acronyms. It's becoming an obsession! So we were walking around Central (not a zone, but the shopping mall), and we spotted this very interesting candy shop, basement one. It's called sticky, and it sells a wide array of handmade candy and lollies. We watched a bit of how the candies were made, and it's really an art. We bought two regular bags, passionfruit and mangosteen flavored. They're $2.90/bag. Look at how detailed the candies are! Cool aye. Sticky actually came from Australia, and currently they only have one outlet at The Central, #B1-54/55. I can foresee a fad coming soon. The candies taste as good as they look! And if you check out their website, they actually take customized orders, so you can make customized candies as wedding gifts! How sweet that will be, literally. If i'm getting married i want to give out candies with "Jesse loves _________" (fill in the blank) on them. Last note, check out this Youtube video of the making of sticky candies. Makes me wanna learn how to make rock candies too! Awesome. |
