Another food post! o.0

Hee. We headed down to Tampines last sunday to check out the new shopping centre Tampines 1. Uniqlo sells all sorts of clothings. I personally support all things japanese. :p

Settled down at Sushi Tei to use up my 40$ voucher.

*Disclaimer!* And we did not overorder! Lol. ;)

Test shot. I get excited just looking at the condiments. Haha!

While waiting dar read the newspaper.
There was some extended reporting on AWARE.
It was the first time i see dar following the news so dutifully. :p
Reminded me of how my dad would read the newspaper every morning in the toilet.

The burner for our sukiyaki. Beautiful calligraphy.

Solid fuel that comes conveniently in a package for single-use.
Some japanese words on it. The japanese are so innovative.

Mine. Chirashi Don. Just one slice of everything.
Pretty pathetic compared to the one i had in Batam. =X

Shared: Sukiyaki.
Ever since we tried sukiyaki in Batam, we've been ordering it everytime we're in a japanese restaurant. Haha. Call it the addiction. Or maybe just routine.

Close-up on the beef. Not a big serving.

Dar's yakitori don. I think. Hee.

I love. Potato croquette!
Love the crispy outside with soft mashy potato fillings. :))

After lunch we went Vivocity and was surprised to see the life-size baby whale on display.

Say hello to Baby Blue.
Ignore the nonchalant eyes. Haha.
Baby Blue is a life-size baby Blue Whale which is about ten feet long. o.0

We had spare time so we did a quiz on Blue Whale and got ourselves two notebooks by National Geographic. :)

(will update more when i reach home on some interesting facts about the Blue Whale.)

Walked about the National Geographic shop for a while. :)

Watched Gu Gu the Cat.
It was horrible. Haha.
Not worthy of a review.

But i still like Ueno Juri. :p
